I have always enjoyed collecting model cars, and it is a passion that I have passed down to both my son and my daughter. There are very few things that we enjoy more than browsing all of the different diecast model cars that we can find either at online shops or in person. Unfortunately, I recently decided that our collection did not include enough 1:43 diecast model cars, and so this was something that I set out to fix immediately. It seems as though many shops mostly only sell the bigger model cars, and so there was initially a struggle to find a good shop in the area with a good selection of 1:43 diecast model cars. Thankfully, I saw a commercial on TV recently from Car Models of Braidwood, and after doing a little bit of investigation, I found that they actually have a huge collection of model cars of all scales.
I did look at the website, and I found it to be very easy to use and navigate. Were I looking to order some diecast model cars over the internet, this is definitely the website that I would choose to use. However, nothing beats showing up in person in order to take a look at all of the cars that are in stock, and the website for Car Models of Braidwood even explains that they have a much bigger selection at the actual shop than they do at the website. I decided that it was time for my kids and I to make a day of it and check out all of the cars at Car Models of Braidwood.
I am happy to say that we were not disappointed at all in the experience that we had at Car Models of Braidwood. The moment that we walked in the door, we were greeted by a very friendly, very helpful person. After talking with him for a few minutes, I came to discover that they are a family owned and operated business that has been dealing diecast model cars for over eighteen years. This was impressive to me, as I figured that any company that has been in business for that long must know their stuff, and so I immediately felt confident that we were going to have a wonderful experience at this shop.
I told the guy that we were specifically looking for 1:43 diecast model cars, and he immediately pointed us in the right direction. Not only did they have this scale of model car, but they had the biggest selection that I had ever seen in my life. My kids and I were able to walk out the door with five different, high-quality 1:43 model cars that day, and we really had a great time while doing it. Not only were they friendly, but they also emailed me a couple days later in order to ask about the experience. I told them just how much fun we had and that we will definitely be going back soon.
